Q: How long will it take to clean my leather
jacket?
A: Our goal is to have all garment processed an in route to you within 1 week.
Garment preservation takes a little longer.
Q: How much will it cost to clean my leather
jacket?
A: Every leather or suede jacket is different. Consult our price list. Most
leather garments fall within the $18-45 range.
Q: Will my leather garment look the same after
cleaning?
A: Most leather and suede garments will clean beautifully when processed, however,
there are some exceptions due to the quality and/or condition of the skins.
Q: Will ink come out of leather?
A: Unfortunately no.
Q: Will my leather or suede jacket fit the
same after cleaning?
A: Leather and Suede have a natural tendency to draw up slightly and contract
as the skins dry out and natural oils are lost. In all cases, we try to restore
most oils and stretch the garment back to it's original size. Any slight shrinkage
is eased by body heat during wearing.
Q: What is the best way to store my leather
coat?
A: Store in a cool, well ventilated area. Never store a leather garment in
a plastic bag.
Q: Will mildew come out of my leather garment?
A: In most cases yes, if it is professionally cleaned, this however depends
on severity.
Q: Do you make repairs to leather and suede
jackets?
A: Yes we offer quality repairs of all kinds, consult our price list for details.
Q: I have a large tear in my leather jacket,
can it be repaired?
A: Yes, there are options. The tear can be sewn to prevent more damage, but
a scar will be visible. More costly is a panel replacement.
Q: My leather jacket gets spots when it rains,
how can I prevent this?
A: Using a water and stain protector will greatly reduce this possibility,
always let your jacket air dry.
Q: Can you add a protective coating to my leather
and suede garments when they are cleaned?
A: Yes. We strongly recommend applying this protector.
Q: Do you clean fur garments?
A: Yes, we have successfully been cleaning fur garments for many years now.
